Soar Girls Academy is the brainchild of Kim and Derrick, birthed out of a vision to mentor young girls so that they can soar to great heights in life.

Kim is passionate about building and raising lives and is a mentor to many young girls. She is also an author and her books “Girls, Here’s What You Never Knew”, “5 Lies You Believed About Your Friends‘  and “It’s Your Turn for a Beautiful Pregnancy” have impacted many lives across the globe. Kim has expertise across the various facets of brand building, communications and media.

Alongside his work in operational excellence in a British-American insurance company, Derrick is a visionary and uses his free time to mentor lives and in bringing them out of brokenness and bondage into freedom and light. Derrick is also a musician and loves conversations about life, faith and purpose.

Kim and Derrick are also founders of Freedom Hangout, a freedom initiative targeted at teens, youth and young adults in the education and corporate sectors. Freedom Hangout team has been visiting schools and hosting events from time to time, sowing hope and freedom into young lives.
